Traveling along the N3 from Johannesburg, take the second Villiers off-ramp and turn right onto the R26 towards Frankfort.

After approximately 11 km, turn right onto the R716 towards Oranjeville. Then a further 4 km down the Oranjeville road, turn right onto the first gravel road that you approach. 1 Km down the road you should come upon a 4 way crossing, continue straight for a further 9 km.  

Soon you should reach the gate to Poortje on your left-hand side.
