Poortje Game farm offers visitors a venue ideally suited for both special events or a tranquil holiday. Located within a 2 hour drive from central Johannesburg one can experience the relaxing fresh air of the Free State fields or treat yourself and a group of friends to a centralized meeting place which is both accommodating and affordable.

Poortje's Stone Cottages and Wood Cabins can together accommodate up to 20 people within its comfortable bedding options while it provides all the required cooking and catering equipment to handle groups up to 35 people. Poortje has hosted several big events such as 21st birthdays, school re-unions, Christian focus groups, Year end functions or simple Christmas family gatherings.  Poortje can also extend its accommodation capabilities as camping can be arranged for larger groups and events.
